My phone asks me to enter a network unlock PIN / PUK or tells me that my SIM card is not valid. What can i do?

When you buy a device like a mobile phone or smartphone from a network operator within the United Kingdom (England, Wales, Scotland or Northern Ireland) it will be locked to that specific network operator. You won´t be able to use your device with any other network than the one it is locked to. This lock is usually referred to as SIM lock or network lock. If your phone is locked you will have to remove the SIM lock from your device.  This is necessary if you want to use it with SIM cards from other network operators. (for example when going abroad or switching to a different network operator)

Is it possible to unlock my mobile phone / smartphone / tablet?

All devices listed on our webshop  can be unlocked. Please read the instructions on the article page for your device carefully in order to make sure that the unlock procedure for your device will be completed successfully. The unlock code you receive for your Android device will be provided based upon the data (IMEI number) you entered during the order process. How does the unlock process work for my mobile phone / smartphone / tablet?

Android devices are unlocked by entering the device specific unlock code on the device.  The unlock code for your device will be provided based upon the IMEI number you provide during the order process. Please make sure that you retrieve your phone´s IMEI number by entering the combination *#06# on your phone´s call screen or by looking it up in your device´s settings menu.Apple iPhones and iPads are unlocked by syncing your device with Apple iTunes after the unlock request has been processed. In order to process your unlock request we need your device´s IMEI number. After we successfully processed your order we will send you a notification by e-mail. Your Apple device will then be unlocked upon the next sync with Apple iTunes.

How do I enter the unlock code on my Android device?

In most cases the device will ask you to enter the unlock code as soon as you start it up with an unaccepted SIM card. After entering the code on your device once it will be permanently unlocked. You will then be able to use SIM cards from any network carrier with your device. Alongside your code you will receive easy-to-follow step-by-step instructions on how to enter the unlock code on your device.
